Resync Messages
If you are having issues with conversations or messages missing from your conversation list after you log in, then Resync Messages is the solution for you. The Resync Messages option works differently depending on what device you are using. It is available in My Account > scroll down to Danger Zone > toggle on.
On a primary (phone) device, it will delete all the messages that are saved for your account on the web, then go through the initial import from your default Android Messages app - (like when you installed the app for the first time) - and push those imported messages up to your web account. On a non-primary (tablet) device, it will clear out Pulse SMS's local database and download everything from the web.
Refresh Account
The Refresh Account option is available in the My Account section of your primary phone. (scroll down to Danger Zone > toggle on, first) Refreshing the account will delete your account on the web and recreate it with new login credentials (username and password). If you are having sync-related issues, start with the Refresh Account option. For example, use this option if your non-primary devices are having issues with login, sending messages, etc. After using it, you will need to log in again on all your devices. The web app is just a normal logout/login. On another Android device, you will need to reinstall the app, to log in again.
These options are useful in different situations. If you are having sync-related account issues, start with the Refresh Account option. If you have been away from the app, and are missing conversations on your Pulse conversation list, use the Resync Messages option on the phone or the tablet app.
