Managing Blocked Messages in Pulse SMS
The Blocked Messages folder is a new feature available in the Pulse SMS Android app. This folder provides a centralized place to view and manage messages blocked by the app's Blocklist feature. Here's everything you need to know about using it.
Where to Find the Blocked Messages Folder
You can access the Blocked Messages folder by opening the side menu in the Pulse SMS Android app.
What’s Inside the Blocked Messages Folder
The folder contains all messages that have been blocked by the Blocklist, ensuring they don’t appear in conversations. These are messages from contacts or numbers you’ve chosen to block, or messages with blocklisted phrases.
Managing Blocked Messages
When you long-press on a message in the Blocked Messages folder, you’ll see the following options:
- Unblock Message: Restore the message so it appears in its original conversation.
- Copy Text: Copy the content of the message to your clipboard.
- Share: Share the message through other apps.
- Delete: Permanently delete the selected message.
- Select Multiple Messages: Multi-select blocked messages for batch actions like deleting or sharing.
- View Details: See information about the message, including the time it was received and the sender.
- Forward Message: Forward the message to another contact.
Additionally, if you want to delete all blocked messages at once, use the Delete All option, which is accessible via the 3-dot menu in the top-right corner of the folder.
Important Notes
- Blocked messages are not synced across devices. Messages you block will only appear in the Blocked Messages folder on the device where they were blocked.
