As a third-party app, Pulse SMS relies completely on Android to deliver its messages and monitor the state of those messages. It does not make any carrier connections itself.
On the Phone App
- If your messages are stuck in this "sending" state on the phone app, Android is not updating the state of those messages. Our recommendation would be to simply restart the phone to restart any of these carrier-level connections. You can send yourself messages to test if the messages are in fact getting sent or if they are stuck.
On the Web or Desktop Apps
- If your messages are stuck in this "sending" state on the web or desktop apps, check out the phone app first.
- If it shows that the messages are still sending, you probably have the issue described above.
- If they show as sent on the phone app, try just refreshing the page to update the status of those messages. If you are on the desktop app, go to View > Reload (or press Ctrl + R) to refresh the app. The service that streams instant updates to the UI may have lost its connection. Performing a refresh/reload will reconnect it.
- If they do not show on the phone at all, go to the Android/phone app's side menu > My account and use the Refresh Account option, then log back in to the web or desktop apps.
